I am currently looking for open full-time graphic design positions in Los Angeles, California.
I specialize in vector art, but enjoy working in all forms of graphic design. I have over three years of experience working in professional design. I've worked on a variety of designs including website design, branding, storefront graphics, promotional products, marketing material, vehicle wraps and magazine design. I am always looking to expand my knowledge in various forms of design.
My passion for design started with creating characters and illustrations in Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator. This passion developed with various medias at Valdosta State University where I received my Bachelor of Fine Arts in July 2015. Although not all of my classes were computer related, I was able to relate them to graphic design by incorporating graphic elements and simple shapes found in my vector work.
While attending Valdosta State University, I worked for their Campus Recreation in the marketing department as a Graphic Designer and as a Creative Director for the school magazine, On Tap. While I was Creative Director, On Tap produced two issues: eleven and twelve which can be seen on my booklets page. This is where I developed my passion for typography and layout design. Around the same time I started working for Valdosta State University, I also started doing freelance websites.
After graduating from Valdosta State University, I moved to Orlando and started working full-time at Elite Signs and Graphics. Although I loved the work of problem solving and creating different types of designs everyday, I needed a higher paying job closer to my home. I started working at Prestige Marketing Group as a graphic designer after Elite Signs and Graphics. The customers I create designs for range from a parent of a baseball player looking to get trading pins for their child’s team to large corporations, like Amazon, Brusters Ice Cream, The Huston Zoo, T-Mobile, Goodwill and various forms of military. I was able to work remotely when I moved to Los Angeles, but I am no longer wanting to work remotely and am looking for full-time graphic design positions in Los Angeles, California.
